My name is Sabina Kirchherr and I was born in Germany. I have been living in Beijing with my husband and with my three of four kids for about four years.

As a qualified fitness trainer it is my desire to help people to improve themselves and enable them to live healthier and happier lives. I love working with people and in Germany I have been giving classes for groups and individuals since 2004. In addition to that, I have been giving classes in Beijing for the past two and a half years in different venues (Oakwood, German School, Park Apartments)

I have been teaching daily classes for mixed groups, special men’s training, specific classes for beginners and the advanced. For example:

Qualifications

BSA Akademie Group Fitness Licence 2004, Spain

Aerobic Coach Licence valid from 2006 STB-Bildungswerk e.V. Stuttgart, Germany

My Fitness Pilates classes are suitable for everyone regardless of age, sex and level of fitness. Each exercise can be done at different levels of intensity with additional modifications to cater for anyone with specific muscular or joint limitations. If you are in any doubt, it is always advisable to check with your GP before undergoing any exercise program.

  1. Sabina is an excellent teacher and great pilate instructor for all age groups. She has an amazing caliber to make her classes exciting, challenging and also quite intense. Sabina puts in a lot of genuine efforts in making everyone worth coming to her classes. As a person she is very soft spoken and is very down to earth. I personally love going to her classes as it made me very fit and healthy. My lifestyle after joining the pilate classes had become very efficient and energetic.   2. Great classes!

    Sabina is the best! She is very engaged and motivating as a teacher and explains the importance of certain exercises, gives different options to modify exercises and always participates in the exercises herself. The classes I do (Tuesdays and Fridays at Park Apartments) are not for people who are afraid of working hard or sweating – something I was surprised about when I first joined and had only tried very soft pilates in the past 🙂
    I give “Pilates by Sabina” my very best recommendation!

  3. A good start of the day

    Have a bad day? Go to Sabina’s class and go out of the class with a big smile and lots of energy!
    Each lesson we do different Pilates with different background music. Some lessons we use bands or weights to have more difficulties in the single exercise on the mat.
    If you have an old insury, Sabina sees it right away and offers you other exercises.
    She always reminds you to do a correct movement and to inhale snd exhale at the right moment.

    Sabina is an energetic, cheerful and very knowledgable instructor. I have attended her classes in several locations (Oakwood, German School and Park Apartments) and in each location she makes full use of the space and available fitness equipment, which makes her classes colorful, challenging and also quite intense. What I really like in her classes is that she never comes with a set-routine and just sticks to it, but rather adjusts the intensity/difficulty of the classes to the participants’ level and needs. Her classes are suitable for all levels since she shows lower and higher level modifications for most of the exercises. I can highly recommend her. Go check her out, you will not regret it!
